getting ready

me and tess may go after some pheasents this saturday

Tess and i went in the woods shed hunting another day with nothing.We ran into a pair of geese on a nest they werent to happy and came right for us,Tess let out a little bark and they stopped in there tracks.The day was very windy and a little cold but we had a good time.I had Tess see if she could lead me back to the truck,she made all the right turns and did it perfect hopefully it would work if i was lost.We are not seeing any pheasents,mostly water birds.It is good to see them because we are going to try goose and duck hunting this year for the first time.

I have been very busy so i missed a few days, been with Tess in the yard only lately.The ticks are already pretty bad,looks like a bad year for them.Tess has already did some swimming at the pond in the dog park.Tess sure loves the water.

A little late on yesterdays post.Tess and i went shed hunting in the woods yesterday,didnt find any once again.It was a beautiful day to get out in the woods,Tess sure has fun and i do also.I noticed something up a head moving on the snow, a small creature.To my suprize it was a leaperd frog moving on the snow very slowly.I think he woke up just a tad to early ha ha

The snow is almost gone.Tess and i went shed hunting in the woods today,we didnt find any but it was a nice day to be out in the woods.We kicked up one turkey and also a grouse.Tess followed them both with her eyes while they were in the air.I told her to find the turkey she put her nose to the air and ground and  took me right to it GOOD DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The woods are fairly wet today.Tess and i didnt do much training today we just played.I found a deer shed,just a fork horn.We kicked up a few birds not sure what they are, sort of look like a grouse but smaller,I'll have to investigate what it is. hiddie hoe

Tess and i finally made back to the the woods instead of the dog park.Tess sure enjoys being in the woods more then the dog park.The snow is still quite deep for me, but as for Tess she could plow through it all day i think.There is sure alot of robind in the woods,dont see them in the woods that often especially in such numbers.We arent seeing any deer tracks or as far as that goes much animals life of any kind.

Tess and i didnt do to much but go to the dog park today.Tess did her first swim of the year form the snow melting and makinf a few nice large ponds.With the snow finally melting its time for us to hit the woods again.

Tess and i went  to the woods today,very bright out needed sum sunglasses.Tess caught two mice through a foot of snow.We found a big patch of pussywillows wich i will pick in a couple weeks for my mothers crafts.

deep snow up here in chippewafalls,tess and i went to the dog park.Tess is getting pretty good at left and right hand signals,on another note i went down to my grandpa and grandmas to help my mom and dad paint in there basement.My grandpa gave me to nice mounted deer head and also some horns mounted on a plaque my great grandfather made, thanks grandpa

me and tess went to the dog park park today for about a hour tess had fun playing in the snow,me not so much ha ha going to tomah tommarrow to see my grandpa and grandma and mom and dad

me and tess didnt go out today to shitty out tess isnt happy found a wood tick on her DAM TICKS!!!!!!

we went to check out new hunting land saw geese,not much deer sign tess pointed me to her first bird,a sparrow haha
